Welcoming new volunteers
It's really important that our new volunteers are given a warm welcome into the county and this starts with the first communication. Commissioners are instrumental in this, meeting with them to find out what they are hoping do in a volunteer role and how they can help us, but also in finding out about that volunteer and what we can give back to them in return. Volunteering is a two-way process and should benefit the volunteer and the organisation.
