Restricted badges
Group B badges
The following badges can be obtained through county channels only. They are only available to volunteers within the county and your eligibility to make your purchase will be checked before dispatching any badges. Orders placed that are not eligible for purchase will be refunded, but a £2.50 admin fee will be retained per order.
Badges can now be ordered and paid for using our online system. It is simpler for our treasurer and badge secretary if orders are paid in this way, and you'll get them faster too. If you are not able to do this then please email [email protected]. The badges available in this way are listed below. There is a charge of £2.50 per order for postage and packaging. Some badges are kindly paid for by county or region, however they still incur a postage charge. Some awards have cloth or enamel badge alternatives. These are not meant as a replacement for the official badges, but can be purchased on behalf of the individual who may wish to have a woven badge for their camp blanket or an enamelled badge for their badge tab. These items are marked with a *. |
Prices are shown on the ordering pages.

Long service awards
It is the responsibility of the local Commissioner to order and arrange presentations of long service awards. Orders for these should only be placed by a Commissioner or a District/Division Administrator supporting a Commissioner. Please indicate who the awards are for on ordering, including membership numbers. Commissioners need to email [email protected] when a badge is presented so that it can be marked as such on GO.
Long service awards, when first presented, are paid for by the county or the region. Replacement long service awards can also be purchased. Commissioners should check eligibility before ordering a replacement badge for a volunteer.
Woven badges are now also available for long service. These are camp blanket badges and are not an alternative to the brooches above. Commissioners should check eligibility before ordering a replacement badge for a volunteer.
Please note; 1 & 3 year badges are awarded by the Girlguiding South West England team. Please contact them directly if you are looking for a replacement badge. [email protected]
