Our Virtual Bubbs Hill Bash 2020 is now over and we had around 500 young members, volunteers and other family members taking part in an amazing weekend of activities and coming together in our Bash Community. Below is the timetable of all the activities and we will leave this page and all the other Bash pages on the website until we are able to resume face to face meetings again. You are welcome to continue using the resources.

Join the Bash Community
Throughout the Bash, we will be sharing the experience through our special Facebook Group. It's open now so you can come and join us. It's available to young members aged 13 years+, to parents of our members and of course to our fabulous volunteers too.
We'll also be sharing activities, videos, etc on our Twitter Page. Use the hashtag #VBHB2020 on Facebook and Twitter. Not on Facebook or Twitter? Don't worry! Everything will be fully accessible via this website and our YouTube Channel so you can still join in with all the fun. |

Resources
Each Zone page will have the main activities at the top. Scroll down though as you will find lots of resources at the bottom to help you tailor your experience for the right age group and ability. Just choose the resources that are appropriate for you.
Who wants a badge?!
Parents, and indeed some of our young members, may not understand this, but Leaders will do almost anything for a badge! We asked in our initial Eventbrite sign up if you would be interested in purchasing one and I am pleased to say you didn't let us down. There was an overwhelming request for badges. Designing the badge will therefore form part of the activities on Saturday and they will be available to purchase after the event. We'll let you know when they're for sale.
Safety
Parents remain responsible for their child(ren) throughout this event. Girlguiding Gloucestershire is providing a range of activities to span the age group from 5-18 years, however each parent should determine whether an activity is right for their own child(ren).
If you are taking part in an activity involving fire (eg toasting marshmallows over a tealight or having a real campfire), please remember to follow basic fire safety. |
