Val Stead Memorial Fund
Val was a passionate volunteer for Deer Park (now Cowley Adventure). Until June this year she was regularly helping in the shop, meeting and greeting visiting groups, contributing to the work of Deer Park Diamonds and a member of the Going Away With team.
Deer Park Friends would like to purchase another picnic table and add an appropriate plaque to remember the many hours dedicated to Cowley Adventure and the fun and friendship we enjoyed with Val for so many years. Please help us to do this by making a donation.
This donation item is set to £1 so please use the quantity to add the amount you'd like to donate. For example, if you want to give £5, put a quantity of 5, or for £20 use the quantity 20, and so on.
This donations page will remain open until Thinking Day 2026 and the bench will be purchased for the 2026 summer season.
As your donation is one to Girlguiding Gloucestershire, we may be able to claim Gift Aid, if you paid tax in the first place. If you are already on our Gift Aid register and we have a declaration form then this will be claimed automatically. If you are not then we will send a message with a Gift Aid declaration form for you to complete and return if you are able.
