Camp Flag

Launches 9 June at 3pm

We'd love to see your camp flags.

Why a Camp Flag?

Can you imagine a sea of tents, all looking very much the same, and you can't work out which one belongs to your unit? Well at large-scale Guiding camps this is not an uncommon problem. So we love to decorate our tents so we can identify them and the easiest way to do that is with a camp flag! If you've made it yourself then you know it's unique too and you won't find yourself trying to access someone else's tent who happens to buy their flags or bunting in the same place that you did!

How do I make a Camp Flag

If you watch Camp Leader Jodie's welcome video (available from 10am on Saturday 13 June 2020) then she shows you her flag and talks about how you can make one. You don't need lots of fancy material and fabric pens (although you're welcome to use them if you've got them) but you can make your flag just from paper or card or whatever else you have at home.

Show us your flags!

We'd love for you to share your camp flags with us. We'll share some of your photos below once the camp is underway.
