We've put together a bingo game to run throughout the weekend. Here are all the details.
Bingo, Italy
Did you know that bingo originated from a lottery called ‘Il Gioco del Lotto d’Italia’, in 1530? Its path can be traced through the French aristocracy, where it was known as 'Le Lotto', before it came to Britain and became the game we know today.
Our game of Bingo this weekend contains 25 different items to cross off as the fun progresses. The PDF document linked below gives you a colourful version as well as a printer friendly black and white version. There is also the image version on this page that you can download and mark off electronically using an image editing tool. How to Play:
Either: Choose a line and complete all the activities on this line throughout the Summer Bash Or: Aim to complete as many squares as possible. If you complete all of them you have a Bingo! |
Don't forget to shout BINGO! when you've finished! Shout out loud, shout out the front door, shout on social media! Just be sure to shout!!
Badge Design:
If you're designing a badge, please can you include the words 'Girlguiding Gloucestershire' and 'Virtual Summer Bash' as well as the trefoil (like your Promise badge). Designs entered without this will still be eligible for the competition (sorry, we know we've add this info a little late!) but if they win we'll need to tweak them slightly to comply with our branding rules.
